# ElizaOS Weekly Newsletter
## July 1-7, 2025

### Executive Summary
This week marks significant progress for the ElizaOS ecosystem with the release of version 1.0.19, bringing important stability improvements and user experience enhancements. Most notably, we've completed a comprehensive documentation overhaul that introduces a two-track system for both technical and non-technical users. The team is also making steady progress on ElizaOS v2 development, which promises improvements to multi-agent coordination, memory systems, and overall architecture.

### Development Updates
#### New Releases
- **ElizaOS v1.0.19** has been released with significant improvements to CLI user experience, browser compatibility updates, and several critical bug fixes
- **Documentation Overhaul** implemented a new two-track system that serves different user types with distinct, focused experiences
- **CLI Improvements** now feature clean spinner animations, better task sequencing, and improved environment variable handling

#### Key Bug Fixes

- Resolved Windows compatibility issues with plugin loading, ensuring cross-platform functionality
- Corrected REST API documentation to match actual implementation, fixing non-existent endpoints and incorrect request parameters
- Improved error handling in BaseApiClient to properly handle unwrapped server responses

#### UI Enhancements

- Enhanced avatar handling and styling consistency across client components

### Community Spotlight
The Discord community has been actively engaged in technical discussions and helping each other resolve issues with ElizaOS implementation. Several community members have stood out:

- **jintern** has been phenomenal in supporting users with troubleshooting Twitter plugin issues, explaining the auto.fun platform, and warning about scam attempts
- **cjft** provided valuable guidance on Twitter API authentication, advising against cookie-based authentication due to ToS risks
- **Snapper** shared a comprehensive ElizaOS Tutorial (Episode 2) covering CLI usage, project creation, character file setup, and running agents in dev mode

A significant community concern has been the ongoing Twitter/X account suspension, with team members Shaw and Kenk acknowledging the issue and working on resolution, though they're experiencing slow response times from the X platform.

### Token Economics
The ElizaOS ecosystem continues to evolve with several tokens gaining attention:

- **auto.fun** is establishing itself as a platform for AI agents with their own tokens, similar to pump.fun but for AI agents
- **JIMMY token** saw some interesting activity with a community member burning 10% of the supply to increase its value
- **ELI5 token** experienced significant price movement after a major whale sold their position
- **DegenAI** token price increased following product demonstrations to token holders

The community remains excited about the potential utility of these tokens, though most currently serve as trading vehicles with possible governance functionality in the future.

### Coming Soon
- **ElizaOS v2** development continues with planned improvements to:
  - Enhanced multi-agent coordination
  - More sophisticated memory systems
  - Cleaner architecture
  - Improved plugin systems
  - Enhanced character files
