## 🎉 Character File Size Limit Increased to 2MB — No More "Request Entity Too Large" Errors!

This week brought significant improvements to ElizaOS with a focus on agent stability and enhanced UI functionality. We've listened to your feedback and made important fixes to core systems.

### 📋 Technical Updates
* **Fixed Character File Size Limit**: Increased JSON payload limit from 100KB to 2MB, resolving the "request entity too large" errors many of you reported when saving complex character files (#5308)
* **Improved AI Provider Support**: Added OpenRouter to model selection and added support for embedding model selection, giving you more flexibility with your AI backends (#5264)
* **Enhanced Agent Settings UI**: Completely reworked the agent configuration panels with better scrolling behavior and more intuitive environment variable management (#5186, #5193)
* **GUI Chat Experience**: Fixed several critical issues including stuck "agent is thinking" states and improved file upload capabilities (#5274, #5115)

### 👥 Community Contributions
* **Database Schema Improvements**: Community member @bealers fixed a critical issue with the message_servers.id column type, resolving foreign key constraint errors in PostgreSQL (#5287)
* **Windows Compatibility**: Thanks to @piffie for identifying and fixing a Windows-specific project loading issue, improving cross-platform support (#5156)

### 🪙 AI16z Token Updates
The team is exploring transaction-oriented tokenomics to replace the current donation model. This would involve transaction fees for agent registration, plugin support, and messaging, creating a more sustainable ecosystem for developers.

### 👀 Coming Next Week
Work continues on Spartan ($degenai), which is now in external testing. If all goes well, holder testing will begin next week. We're also working on fixing the AI news pipeline to ensure daily posts resume in the AI news channel.
